About the Team

Intertek's Electrical business line applies product testing expertise quickly and efficiently to help clients meet safety, performance, environmental and quality requirements for every market they wish to enter. Our Electrical team provides assurance, testing, inspection, and certification for a variety of electric products, including appliances, consumer electronics, lighting, medical devices, information communications technology, HVACR, industrial, and energy transmission and distribution. Our dedicated professionals help ensure the quality, safety, and sustainability of electrical products used by people throughout the world.

What are we looking for ?

This Program Administrator, Remote U.S. position is responsible for establishing program goals and objectives and evaluating program activities. This position works under minimal supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. May have travel related assignments.

What you'll do:

  • Establish program goals and objectives.
  • Determine methods for achieving program goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate progress toward the achievement of program goals and objectives.
  • Act as the lead contact for program questions, changes, directives, etc.
  • Assist with the development of program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations and monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct program research and create various reports and analysis.
  • May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Perform other work as required.

What it takes to be successful in this role:
  • HS Diploma or GED; Prefer Bachelor's Degree in directly related field
  • 4+ years administrative experience, preferably directly related to the program
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communications skills, in both verbal and written formats
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including travel via car and airplane and overnight travel.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable driving record.

The base wage or salary range for this position is $21 - $28 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
