We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong focus on Python development to join our dynamic Pod Test Automation team. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing our product development process through sophisticated test automation frameworks and comprehensive testing strategies using Python.
Responsibilities: - Python Test Automation Framework Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust test automation frameworks in Python to streamline and enhance our software testing processes.
- Automated Test Development: Collaborate closely with the software development team to create, maintain, and execute automated tests in Python, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- End-to-End Involvement: Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation is in compliance with Company policies, and that software activities are appropriate for the design and maintenance of medical products.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies, tools, and processes, staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that our software meets all regulatory and quality standards through meticulous testing and validation efforts.

Education and Experience: Minimum Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience as either a Software Development Engineer or (SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test with a strong emphasis on Python development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium with Python). Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in your work.
Preferred Skills and Competencies: - Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) and Design Patterns
- Experience in building libs, CI and Code coverage
- Experience in developing test frameworks and automated tests in Python.
- Experience working closely with development and test teams.
- Knowledge of built in-external libraries
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience with Test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, and writing test cases
- Exposure to Agile environment
- Medical Device or other regulated industry experience is a plus.

• General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124, 800.00 - $187, 200.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
