Description:

As the Commercial Platforms Senior Manager, you play a critical role in building and managing reporting solutions that enable global visibility and performance tracking across the commercial organization. This position is key to ensuring that commercial reporting platforms deliver accurate, standardized, and actionable outputs that meet the needs of global and local teams alike.

Responsibilities

Commercial Platform Strategy and Execution:
  • Understands company strategy, market opportunities, and corporate strategic imperatives.
  • Drives linkage of corporate strategy to commercial objectives through development of enabling tools, reporting, insights, and CRM / SPM enhancements.
  • Builds and maintains a strong rapport with commercial business partners in sales, marketing, sales excellence, and other departments to develop sales enables in support of their respective initiatives to ensure ongoing operational needs are met.
  • Proactively "connects the dots" across commercial teams, Data Science, IT, and 3rd parties to drive alignment of strategy and tactics as well as inform prioritization decisions.
  • Develops and maintains a roadmap of projects and programs related to CRM, SPM and other sales enabling systems


Gather and Align Global Reporting Needs
  • Engage with local commercial and analytics teams to collect, understand, and consolidate reporting requirements
  • Translate local needs into standardized global use cases and functional specifications for platform development
  • Prioritize reporting enhancements based on business impact and scalability across markets


Develop, Maintain and Deploy Reporting Solutions
  • Build, optimize, and maintain user-friendly, visually consistent dashboards aligned with business objectives and evolving commercial reporting standards
  • Gather requirements and customize dashboard solutions to meet the needs of commercial stakeholders
  • Support successful deployment and adoption across regions through effective rollout, and ongoing support


Maintain Data Integrity
  • Validate data sources and ensure consistency, accuracy, and trustworthiness in reporting outputs
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies in data flow and reporting results, implementing fixes and preventive measures
  • Work with enterprise data teams to maintain a clear understanding of data pipelines and system dependencies


Collaborate Cross Functionally
  • Partner with global and local stakeholders, including IT, commercial operations, and data teams, to align on priorities and solutions
  • Provide training and guidance to regional users on CRM/Tableau tools, promoting adoption of standardized reporting methodologies
  • Act as a platform ambassador, continuously identifying opportunities to improve tools, reporting practices, and end-user experience


Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in building, optimizing, and deploying dashboards that align with business requirements
  • Strong ability to validate data sources, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and ensure reporting integrity and accuracy
  • Skilled in translating business questions into reporting solutions, with an understanding of commercial metrics and KPIs
  • Familiarity with data flows across enterprise commercial systems and their impact on reporting outputs
  • Capable of driving the adoption of reporting tools through effective training, guidance, and engagement
  • Strong communicator with the interpersonal skills to collaborate with global and local stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable, with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
  • Experienced in identifying and synthesizing platform requirements across diverse teams and markets


Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial operations, business intelligence, or platform/reporting management within a global organization or like experiences
  • Experience using Sales Performance Management (SPM) Systems


Preferred
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in Medical Technology, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences
  • Proven track record of building and managing Tableau dashboards and CRM integrations


Physical Requirements
  • Limited business travel as required

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139, 650.00 - $209, 475.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
