Position Overview

Position Dates: January 11, 2027 - June 30, 2027

This position will work in the chemistry lab and be trained and involved in the testing and analysis of body-worn drug delivery devices as it relates to biocompatibility and safety to the patient.

Responsibilities

• \tUse GCMS and conduct off gas analysis on Pod components with headspace autosampler.

• \tUse FTIR for investigation of foreign matter related to R& D, post market or manufacture.

• \tUse UPLC-MS to study extractable and leachable profiles of Pod.

• \tCoordinate sample submission to Contract labs.

• \tAuthor Test Protocol/Test Report for biocompatibility as needed.

• \tHelp out/lighten other groups' workload as needed

• \tFollow safety guidelines

• \tMaintain electronic and/or paper notebooks

• \tAuthor/Establish Tool Files for instruments/procedures in chemistry lab

Required Skills and Competencies

• \tHighly ethical, responsible and data-driven decision-making methodology

• \tEffective verbal and written communication skills

• \tAbility to follow direction

• \tProficient in Microsoft Office Tools

• \tAbility to work with chemistry-based lab equipment and tools

Education and Experience

• \tCurrently pursuing a BS or BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

Additional Information

• \tThe position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements, and requires on-site work at our Acton, Massachusetts headquarters at least 4 days per week.

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
