Position Overview:

The Procurement Co-op will support Insulet's category managers and specialists in the Indirect Procurement Group. The candidate will work with cross functional teams from Procurement, IT, HR, Facilities, R& D, G& A and Manufacturing, as well as the suppliers in these categories. In this position you will have the opportunity to experience RFx, negotiations, supplier relationship management, business partner management, data collection and analysis. An ideal candidate will have the desire to learn about and work in an innovative, fast paced environment in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will:

• Purchasing Support
• All Categories
• Supplier Management Support
• Procurement Spend Data collection
• Cost Reduction support
• Process Improvement Projects
• Other tasks and projects as assigned

The candidate is expected to learn on the job about the functionality of our medical device.

Education and Experience:

• Candidates for a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Previous Co-op experience or internship.
• Preferred skills and Competencies:
  
  • ERP systems and manufacturing processes experience is desirable
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Effectively work independently and collaboratively
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5

Additional Information:
Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
