What are we looking for?The
Pricing Specialist is responsible for preparing and auditing subscription quotes for global Commercial teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with pricing strategies.

What you'll do: - Prepare and complete subscription quotes assigned by Commercial teams with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough audits of quotes as requested by Commercial teams to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Triage and delegate audit and quote requests to the outsourced service provider daily.
- Ensure all quotes are completed within the expected delivery timeframes, proactively communicating any delays to requestors.
- Manage and escalate any quote process delays by coordinating with Publishers or requestors to resolve missing information.
- Maintain high-quality standards for quotes and audits, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Oversee training and quality control for the outsourced service provider, ensuring they are fully upskilled and adhere to best practices.
- Collaborate directly with Publishers, build valued relationships with a view to grow revenue through industry best practices.
- Act as a liaison with Commercial teams, ensuring they are informed about publisher rights and requirements for quote completion.
- Support Commercial teams in developing pricing strategies for RFQs to maximize competitive positioning.
- Develop and implement quote strategies that achieve or exceed target margins.
- Identify process efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities within the pricing workflow.
- Provide Commercial Heads of Departments with relevant statistical reports on quote activities to support data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- Business Administration experience in a Professional Services/Consulting business-to-business environment.
- Excel skills
- This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: - Preferably Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years' Business Administration experience in a Professional Services/Consulting business-to-business environment.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Pricing strategy knowledge with experience in developing and implementing pricing models, strategies, and structures.
- Market & competitive analysis with the ability to assess market trends, competitor pricing, and positioning.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work with sales teams, clients, and stakeholders to optimize pricing strategies.
- Capable of identifying and addressing pricing inefficiencies or opportunities through strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple pricing initiatives and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
