Hilton Boston Park Plaza is looking to welcome a Rooms Controller to join the team!

This 1060 room property has a premier Back Bay location just steps away from the Boston Common and the Public Garden, as well as a half mile from Beacon Hill and the Theater District! Our 10+ team members report to the Director of Front Office.

The Ideal candidate holds for 2+ years as a Guest Service Agent within hospitality. Availability to work the required shifts. Excel at providing amazing customer service. Hilton experience/an OnQ certification would be considered an asset for this role.

Shift Pattern: AM/PM (weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed)

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour plus the opportunity for additional incentives

What will I be doing?

As a Rooms Controller, you would be responsible for daily room assignment for VIP's and all other special requests. Assist Front Desk with daily operations:
  • Pre-assigning rooms to incoming reservations to ensure room type availability and to open opportunity for upsells.
  • Greet and assist guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform word-processing, typing, e-mailing, data-entry, filing, faxing, copying, processing mail and taking notes and/or dictation
  • Answering all Front Office phone calls in regards to reservations, credit card authorizations andVIPs.
  • Communicate with Housekeeping, Sales & Events team on a continuous basis throughout the day.
  • Coordinate department projects, as needed
  • Oversee maintenance of office equipment
  • Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed
