We are currently seeking a
Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated facilities team. This role will support our new
Cabot Street affordable housing properties, along with other affordable housing units in
Beverly. As part of a larger maintenance team serving multiple North Shore locations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing upkeep, functionality, and safety of our buildings and grounds.
What You'll Do: - Perform general building maintenance including minor repairs, plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, and light construction
- Support and execute preventive maintenance plans
- Help ensure facility and resident safety by responding promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies
- Maintain grounds year-round, including snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal care
- Work independently and manage your daily tasks while also collaborating with the larger facilities team
This is a
full-time role, typically Monday-Friday, with flexibility required for emergencies or seasonal needs.
What We're Looking For: - Solid experience in manual trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Knowledge of building systems and comfort using various hand and power tools
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious

Qualifications- 3-5years relevant experience related to trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance
- Basic computer skills, including typing and reviewing online work orders
- Previous OSHA certification preferred but not required, or willingness to acquire certification neededwithin 6 months
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift, bend, twist, and reach as needed to execute job responsibilities
- Must have a validdriver's license and/ or reliable transportation
