Title: Sr. Proficy MES Architect
Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree Computer, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing RobEx Scheduler and Proficy MES solutions for manufacturing facilities Must have experience in: Developing and deploying integration solutions and data exchange between Proficy MES), ERP, Scheduler (RobEx) and SCADA systems within a manufacturing environment. Utilizing MS SQL, Python, JavaScript, #, HTML, and Swift programming languages to develop user friendly web applications and create scalable solutions. Developing patches and enhancements to extend Proficy MES software web applications. Creating functional specification documentation and user test cases for Proficy MES and RobEx projects. Developing and maintaining system integration and implementation project plans, schedules, and budgets. Required participation in an after-hours on-call rotation to support MES and RobEx Scheduler customers. Travel (domestic & international) required up to 50% annually to customer sites, to support MES and RobEx Scheduler projects.
Job Duties: Design, develop, and implement RobEx Scheduler and Proficy MES solutions for manufacturing facilities. Develop, test, commission, and support Proficy MES solutions onsite and at client sites to optimize manufacturing processes. Configure servers to meet functional specifications. Develop tests and provide ongoing support for Proficy MES solutions and RobEx scheduler applications onsite and at client sites. Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures to ensure the reliability and functionality of MES systems. Develop and maintain system integration and implementation project plans, schedules, and budgets. Direct the installation of operating systems, network or application software, or computer or network hardware. Build robust and user-friendly web applications to support manufacturing operations and data visualization. Develop patches and enhancements to extend Proficy software web applications. Integrate MES systems and RobEx scheduler with existing infrastructure and processes. Develop and deploy integration solutions and data exchange between Proficy MES, ERP, Scheduler (RobEx) and SCADA systems within a manufacturing environment. Utilize PowerBi to Create and deploy executive-level cloud based dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key metrics and provide actionable insights into manufacturing performance. Utilize MS SQL, Python, JavaScript, #, HTML, and Swift programming languages to develop user-friendly web applications and create scalable solutions. Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction with MES (Proficy) solutions and Scheduler (RobEx) solutions. Collaborate with project teams to devise and execute customer driven MES and RobEx integration solution project plans, budgets, and schedules. Create functional specification documentation and user test cases for Proficy MES and RobEx projects. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for scheduling systems and MES systems resolving any issues promptly to minimize downtime. Provide remote and onsite Proficy and RobEx customer service to facilities, including system installations, software upgrades, end-user training, and troubleshooting. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support MES and Scheduler customers. Travel up to 50% annually to customer sites as necessary, both domestically and internationally, to support MES and Scheduler projects and provide onsite assistance.Why Build a Career with Us?
