We are currently looking for a Regional Accounting, part of the Finance team of Iberia region, €30m revenues over Spain and Portugal, with 4 Entities located in Malaga, Madrid, Valencia and Lisbon.

You will manage the following tasks:

• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the month-end reporting packages and annual financial statements for consolidation purposes
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory financial closing of all entities in the region according to local GAAP, and comply with audit processes and tax reporting
• Collaborate and instruct Group financial Shared Service Center for a timely production of accounting and financial data
• Guide and review the monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and instruct the Journal Entries needed for any non-recurring transaction
• Assisting the external tax advisors and take responsibility for ensuring that the direct and indirect tax declarations are completed and in line with the fiscal calendar
• Improve the compliance to group accounting policies and processes
• Be the lead for technical accounting under IFRS and local GAAP; determining the proper accounting treatment of complex or unusual transactions
• Integrate the new ERP system (MS Dynamics) and ensure the proper use consistently with the Group core model process
• Have a clear understanding of the local organization and operate as business partner of the stakeholders and management to enable strong relationship with all the functions within the organization
• Support and coordinate the accounting and finance team in the preparation of data for trend analysis and budget and forecast preparation
• Be the main contact for external auditors and take responsibility for ensuring that the audit process is completed in line with the audit timetable
• Collaborates with management to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable the timely and informative accumulation, adjustment, and reporting of financial data
• Support the Entities simplification path

Your Profile:

• Understanding of IFRS and experience in preparation or overview of Statutory Financial Statements
• 3-5 years of experience in the role or in Statutory Audit profile in an international context
• Prior experience in a major ERP (Dynamics / Business Central will be a plus).
• Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Month End/Quarter End Accounting Close experience
• Strong analytical skills, organization, time management, and curiosity to advance the position
• Exercises good judgment and is comfortable working under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents
• Financial and business support experience
• Fluent in Spanish and excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Prior work experience in an Information Technology Services Provider or in a Big Four Accounting Firm will be considered a plus, as would-be prior work experience within a group with multinational subsidiaries
