Assistant Project Superintendent – Lead Large-Scale Vertical Building Projects

The Opportunity:

You will serve as a key field leader on high-profile vertical construction projects while stepping onto a direct pathway toward becoming a Lead Project Superintendent. This role gives you hands-on experience co-managing complex jobsites, steering daily trade operations, and enforcing quality and safety standards. You will work alongside an award-winning ENR Top 100 Green Contractor dedicated to your long-term career growth.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Oversee daily field operations to ensure vertical construction progress aligns with specs and milestone schedules.
• Direct and coordinate field activities for multiple trade subcontractors and site labor personnel.
• Enforce project safety, quality control, and site logistics plans to maintain jobsite productivity.
• Lead weekly foreman and safety coordination meetings to align site teams and enforce protocols.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the master project schedule to mitigate operational bottlenecks.
• Prepare accurate daily field logs tracking site progress, manpower, weather, and key activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License.
• Minimum of 3 years of field operations experience within commercial or public construction.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise trade subcontractors and execute daily site logistics.
• Strong capability to read, interpret, and reinforce construction drawings and project plans.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to jobsite locations outside a 30-mile radius.
• Must be able to pass background check (CORI)

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in field operations on large-scale vertical projects.
• Professional safety and site equipment certifications including OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lifts.
• Familiarity with industry software tools such as Procore and Microsoft Office.
