Baldor Professional Services, LLC is hiring a Hilo Operator I (2nd Shift) in Chelsea, MA. This is a full-time position.

Position Summary: Hi-Lo Operator I Position Summary The Hi-Lo Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial equipment to transport, store, replenish, and organize inventory throughout warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product flow by moving inventory between reserve storage and primary pick locations, ensuring inventory accuracy, product availability, and operational efficiency. The Hi-Lo Operator I partners closely with the Receiving, Inventory Control, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Sanitation teams to support daily warehouse activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, food safety, and operational excellence. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate company-certified Hi-Lo equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Transport, store, and replenish inventory between reserve storage and primary pick locations to support order fulfillment. Perform replenishment activities based on operational priorities and inventory demands. Assist with receiving, inventory transfers, stock rotation, staging, and other warehouse functions as needed. Verify product locations, quantities, lot codes, and inventory information before moving merchandise. Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and complete all required safety documentation. Immediately report equipment malfunctions, damaged product, inventory discrepancies, and workplace safety concerns. Follow established warehouse traffic patterns, material handling procedures, and safe operating practices. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas in accordance with GMP and food safety standards. Comply with all company policies regarding GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality assurance, sanitation, and workplace safety. Work collaboratively with Receiving, Inventory Control, Operations, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and leadership teams to achieve daily productivity goals. Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts as assigned. Perform additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain company certification to operate powered industrial equipment. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and workplace safety. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Previous warehouse, distribution center, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience. Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment, including Hi-Lo/Forklift, Reach Truck, or Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ). Internal certification or previous certification operating a one-level Reach or Hi-Lo preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, kneel, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials within company-established guidelines, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in refrigerated, freezer, wet, and varying temperature warehouse environments. Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, reflective vest, gloves, and any additional protective equipment required for the work area. Ability to safely navigate busy warehouse environments with moving equipment and pedestrian traffic. Work Environment This position is performed in a warehouse, production, and distribution environment.
