About You

As the E-Commerce Business Development Manager for Southern Europe (Iberia and Italy), you will play a key role in driving Kimberly-Clark Professional’s strategic business plan and “must-win” focus on E-Commerce growth. The primary objective for this role will be to accelerate online growth for distributors selling our products via their online platforms (Pure players, marketplaces, omni channels...). To achieve your objectives, you must utilize strategic thinking to create joint business plans with existing and new eCommerce distributors, influence internal stakeholders, and solve highly complex customer challenges.

You will need to effectively work with the existing sales teams to complement our traditional sales process as our business mix shifts, and the extended E-Commerce team to develop and drive new approaches and best practices to improve online performance. You will first ensure that Kimberly-Clark has implemented the basics of online success including assortment, digital shelf, and data analytics. When appropriate, you will also be looking to drive more advanced digital tactics such as targeted online marketing and promotions.

You will report to the EMEA Head of E-Commerce for Kimberly-Clark Professional and you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).

Location: we can offer a remote model for candidates already based in Spain, ideally in Madrid Area. Some regular visits to the Madrid Office will be required.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage and direct E-Commerce business to achieve sales and profit goals in ES.

  • Develop an understanding of the E-Commerce ES market for all identified E-Commerce channel customers

  • Deliver long-term profitable growth at a Country level/by channel customers, on a monthly basis – in conjunction with the EMEA E-Commerce team

  • Build relationships with key E-Commerce contact points within the ES E-Commerce customer / account portfolio, working closely with sales & marketing teams

  • Manage the growth for our identified E-Commerce channel customers through joint business plans; working with Sales & Marketing to ensure KCP has a strong online presence & promotional activity plan

  • Design and recommend online sales programs and set short and long-term online sales strategies.

  • Effectively manage promotional and digital marketing multiple stakeholders (internal/external) at all levels within the organization

  • Analyze current business trends and propose to customers ideas to increase traffic and sales.

  • Collaborate with EMEA E-Commerce colleagues to build and deliver E-Commerce knowledge and training for the ES organization (all functions)

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or sales or related field

  • Significant experience in E-Commerce Sales. Experience in digital marketing or merchandising is a nice to have.

  • Experience in developing sales plans and executing via an effective sales strategy.

  • Exceptional strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills;

  • Business orientation – understanding of market dynamics, commercial mindset

  • Strong decision making, influence and communication skills

  • Ability to travel around 20% of the time

  • Excellent / native Spanish; Fluent English and Italian
