Your assignment:

Analyst/Problem Solver

  • Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics.

  • Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand-planning exception reports to identify and fix potential issues.

  • Collect past/future demand factors (distribution gains/losses, price changes, new/discontinued products and promotion plans, for example) from sales and marketing and forecast/model their impacts on demand.

  • Interact with sales, marketing and operations to understand and interpret the potential impact market trends and demand drivers can have on demand and adjust the statistical forecast to reflect those impacts.

Systems Expert

  • Use and maintain current demand-planning systems including where applicable the statistical forecast (APO DP: proposed based forecast).

  • Familiarity with the Standard Demand Planning system features like: ABC-XYZ segmentation and forecasting strategies, best-fit/what-if analysis, class/characteristic identification, aggregation/disaggregation, etc. (depending on timeline of IBP DP implementation)

Communicator/Reporter

  • Determine and communicate forecast range, with consensus demand, potential upside opportunity and downside risk, to the demand management.

  • Develop, monitor and communicate reports on changes and forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.

  • Measure, analyze and report key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs)

Process Improver

  • Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or similar

  • Strong mathematical/statistical abilities.

  • Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Experience working with SAP DP and with Business Intelligence reports

  • Minimum six years experience on demand management

  • Hands-on experience with modeling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools.

  • Experience in SCM and S& OP process

  • Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing, finance and manufacturing.

  • Worked in a team-based environment

  • Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Experience working with SAP APO and with Business Intelligence reports

  • Fluent in Spanish and English both written and spoken; Portuguese optional

  • Willingness to travel
