Position Purpose:

The Manufacturing Director, LATAM provides strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing operations across Latin America. This role is responsible for driving safe, compliant, and cost‑competitive manufacturing performance while leading transformation initiatives across multiple sites. The position plays a critical role in enabling profitable growth of the LATAM business and is a key member of the regional leadership team.

The Manufacturing Director, LATAM will report to the Vice President, Supply Chain – Enterprise Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing and operations strategy and execution across LATAM facilities, ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, delivery, and cost competitiveness.

  • Serve as a key member of the LATAM ABU leadership team, aligning manufacturing strategies and execution with business priorities and growth plans.

  • Provide inspirational leadership to an organization of approximately 2, 000 employees, fostering a strong “One Supply Chain” mindset across the region.

  • Drive deployment and execution of manufacturing transformation initiatives across all sites, including:

    • Manufacturing Excellence

    • Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

    • Environmental performance

    • Quality and brand equity

    • Cost, delivery, and productivity (“Fuel to Grow”)

    • People and talent development

  • Establish and sustain robust management infrastructure across all tiers of manufacturing operations, including daily management systems, continuous improvement, and innovation.

  • Execute the regional talent strategy, ensuring a strong pipeline of capable leaders across Manufacturing and the broader Supply Chain organization.

  • Champion continuous improvement and year‑over‑year productivity gains using value‑stream and operational excellence approaches.

  • Act as a delegate and strategic partner to senior Supply Chain leadership, supporting alignment and connectivity across LATAM manufacturing sites.

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, including:

    • At least 5 years in manufacturing leadership roles

    • Experience managing multiple manufacturing sites across two or more countries

  • Proven track record of leading large, multi‑site manufacturing organizations.

  • Demonstrated success driving transformation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Experience leading multi‑source supply organizations that include manufacturing.

  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capability; ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

  • Experience with capital planning and execution.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Supply Chain functions and Centers of Excellence.

  • Prior experience with union or works council consultation and negotiation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.

  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast‑paced, and changing environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in personal care manufacturing or engineering environments.

  • Regional or global leadership experience within emerging markets.
