Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Orthopaedics are looking for a VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution (VRAS) Specialist.
Region: Midlands, Nottingham, Bedford and surrounding areas supporting key accounts.
About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution (VRAS) Specialist. Role Purpose:

As a VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution (VRAS) Specialist, you will serve as the clinical and technical expert for VRAS. You’ll work directly with surgeons and nursing teams during a comprehensive Hypercare period, ensuring an accounts seamless transition to robotic-assisted surgery for Knee replacements.
Your role will include:
  • Leading the installation and onboarding process for the VRAS system.
  • Delivering exceptional clinical and technical support during initial procedures.
  • Building strong relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, while collaborating with our Joints Team to onboard customers.
  • Supporting promotional activities to prospective customers at Local and National congresses and events
  • Reporting to the VELYS Sales and Commercial Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of orthopaedic robotics within J& J.
What you will be doing:
  • Act as the VRAS product expert, presenting solutions to a variety of stakeholders across NHS and private healthcare in collaboration with Joints and Capital Sales teams.
  • Manage installation logistics and provide technical service to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Guide surgical teams through their initial robotic procedures, sharing best practices and fostering confidence in the technology.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to hospital departments, including sterile processing and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with local Joint Teams to ensure they are adequately trained and supported, enabling them to independently provide robotic case coverage after the Hypercare period.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor products, and the latest robotic innovations.
  • Support the rollout of new software updates and product lines, including Uni software in 2025.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges swiftly and effectively, acting as the first line of service for complex issues.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, providing expert guidance and support throughout their robotic surgery journey.
  • Represent the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution at local and national congresses and events, supporting promotional activities to engage prospective customers and highlight the value of our technology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Field Service Engineers (FSE) and Digital Surgery partners, to deliver a unified customer experience.
  • Work autonomously with a results-driven mindset, while contributing to team objectives.
