IKEA Leeds are looking to welcome Click and Collect Assistants to join our hard-working Fulfilment Team.

Are you proactive and love making customers happy? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to pick, prepare, and hand over customer orders. Be a part of our team and help create a fabulous shopping experience at IKEA!

WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: 26th October
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
• 12 hours working weekends only, 6 hour sifts on both Saturday and Sunday
• Working hours are between 6am till 9: 30 pm

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Ability to lift, carry and push heavy stock safely and efficiently is essential.
• Previous warehouse and customer service experience is preferred, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the picking/hand out of stock and to answer customer questions.
• Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Efficiently pick and pack all customer click and collect orders from the shop floor or warehouse and deposit them in designated areas.
• Accurately check picked orders and hand them out to our customers or our home delivery team with a smile.
• You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, by offering solutions to frequently asked questions.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
