Regional Data Protection Manager

Join us as a Regional Data Protection Manager at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, in our Data Proteccion team based in UK to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What you’ll achieve

As a Regional Data Protection Manager you will be part of our highly successful data protection team, utilising your skills in applying the Global Privacy Model (information notices, procedures, templates) into the UK legislation

Working with a global skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Review Data Processing Agreements with customers and providers

  • Manage data breaches obligations, assisting the management

  • Draft and update regularly records of processing activities

  • Provide consultancy on local legislation and practices

  • Manage data subjects rights

  • Conduct audits on data protection topics

  • Cooperate with Group DPO team in international global projects and contracts

  • Implement process with sales and procurement teams to guarantee that DPA are negotiated and assist them

  • Assist the business in data protection tenders

  • Draft data protection documents (DPIAs, LIAs, TIAs)

Essential Requirements

  • Legal Studies or technical/security studies with above-average degree
  • DPO certification/Data Protection Master or specific training
  • Experience of GDPR and UK GDPR data protection law
  • Experience of local data protection law and statements of Data Protection Authorities
  • Familiarity with IP law and IT contracts is a plus
  • Ability to perform audits and risk assessments
  • Analytical skills for evaluation and improvement of existing policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Ability to create plans for standard projects independently
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare is a plus
  • Experience in risk management/audit is a plus
  • Experience in public tenders is a plus
