Description:

As an R& M Technician, you'll perform hands-on inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools in Weatherford's facilities. You'll work with specialized equipment and systems to prepare tools for their next assignment, following technical manuals and work instructions. This role offers growth opportunities with senior positions leading and overseeing maintenance teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain highest standards of safety, security, and compliance with company policies
  • Inspect, repair, and refurbish field tools through the entire maintenance process
  • Use precision measuring instruments and testing devices to assess equipment condition
  • Complete required documentation, work orders, and quality control processes
  • Safely operate lifting equipment, forklifts, and cranes for material handling
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments with accurate documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and LEAN programs
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders

Skills Required:
  • Basic mathematics and computer skills
  • Ability to work with hazardous materials, radioactive elements, and explosives
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
  • Strong time management and quality control analysis skills
  • Physical capability to perform required maintenance tasks
  • Effective operation of tools and machinery
  • Ability to read technical documentation and follow procedures

Qualifications Required:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
  • Basic computer proficiency

Qualifications Preferred:
  • Experience with NDT, NDE, and ATEX principles
  • Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Certifications for operating lifting equipment, forklifts, and cranes
  • Experience with maintenance management systems

Travel Requirement: Up to 10% domestic and potentially international travel
