Description:

The Commercial Lending Manager is responsible for preparing and executing funding of loan packages and documentation for commercial clients in accordance with established guidelines and policies as well as the full-scale management of existing loans in the commercial portfolio. This role involves interfacing with clients to obtain necessary documentation, coordinating with Loan Officers and the legal department, ensuring timely and accurate funding of loans. The Commercial Lending Manager also maintains detailed loan files containing documentation supporting loan approvals, comprehensive borrower financial information, and any and all other documentation deemed relevant and necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute the closing and funding of all commercial loans according to approved specifications
  • Coordinate special documents to cover unusual loan terms with legal department
  • Manage portfolio of existing commercial loans including but not limited to maintaining detailed loan files for each borrower, coordinating renewal process and obtaining necessary documentation, and documenting approvals
  • Examine loan terms and ensure loan is funded within established time frames
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • At least six months of related experience and/or training in commercial lending
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
