Scope of Responsibility: Field Services Technician is responsible for the planning and execution of the repairs/completion of projects in the field. Essential Duties: Install, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment mechanically and electricallyDemonstrates proficiency in accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing equipment problemsFollows all DOT compliance laws and completes logbooks when under DOT regulationsTest equipment to ensure proper functionProvide daily reports and communicates to Field Services SupervisorsPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsPerforms other miscellaneous duties as assigned Position Requirements: High school diploma, or equivalentMinimum 3 months related work experienceWorking knowledge of basic hand toolsMust have a valid Class D chauffeurs LicenseMust be familiar with mechanical, electrical and/or wire installationMust be able to travel extensively across the USMust be able to work efficiently without supervision and self-motivatedMust be able to read and understand instructionsMust have a working knowledge of basic math skillsMust be able to read a tape measure andunderstand blueprintsMust be able to pass a background check and DOT certification Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materialsMust be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekendsPosition requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and a safety-minded individualMust be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperaturesMust have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources At Sabre Industries, we invest in your future with a competitive benefits program.
