Maintenance Mechanic

Primary Responsibilities

• As the Maintenance Mechanic the q ualified individual must have experience working on mechanical equipm ent by completing repairs on pumps, gaskets, valves, mechanical seals, agitators, motors, conveyor systems, and p roduction machines .

• Identify all tools required for tasks and identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks

Must have knowledge in P ipefitting, Boiler making, Ironworking, and torch use and welding certification a plus.

• M ust be a team player and possess a positive attitude.

• Minor valve maintenance and repair

• Oxygen and acetylene cutting

• Basic rigging

• Operation of pneumatic and electric tools

• Basic plumbing repair

• Must have knowledge of towers/columns, exchangers

• Identify materials and layout on trays; install valves, trays and strainers; introduction to piping systems; pipefitting; manually cut pipe; and basic rigging.

• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

• M inimum of 4 years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment.

• NCCER Certification may be required in one or more craft disciplines .
