Description:

Facilitate implementation of the Wood Products Division reliability strategy across the region manufacturing operations to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems. Lead on-site growth of reliability concepts to improve the maintenance organization and to design and implement long-term continuous improvement systems. Implementation and maintenance of equipment standards, processes and work practices. Facilitate failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA/CFA) on failures and solution implementation, equipment criticality ranking, building of BOM’s on equipment, preventative maintenance (PM)/job plan optimization, center-lining of equipment, and CMMS data integrity. Interact with division, region and location personnel, as well as external consultants and contractors engaged in reliability initiatives. Track and report performance against desired results. Communicate with site, region and division leadership, as required. Work with site, region or division to establish, track and sustain training activities within the reliability improvement scope. Lead project teams and supervise external consulting resources. Provide additional operational resource when need arises. Monitor manufacturing, maintenance and equipment performance. Gain and develop broad, comprehensive knowledge of plant environment and overall. Capable of communicating and influencing change in others at all levels in the organization. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
