Basic Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree preferred or must have at least two years of industrial experience with electronics, computers, and control systems, or have equivalent technical education. Must have a solid understanding/ability of troubleshooting electronic components and control systems. Must have the ability to write PLC programs and have a working knowledge of PC programs. Responsible for maintaining subject matter expert level knowledge in electrical engineering field, including developing skills to meet future technology advancements. Should be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work with a wide variety of personnel. Training of other personnel in electronic troubleshooting will be required. Must be willing to work extra hours as necessary and be on-call during off hours. Must be an advocate of process control and total quality. Preferred Qualifications: Wood Products experience a plus.
