Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Regional Energy Buyer and be at the forefront of digital transformation! Help businesses maximize their online potential through our cutting-edge solutions and services.

What will you do:
  • Acquire and maintain expertise in specified natural gas and electric power markets.
  • Initiate needed RFP processes for clients
  • Assist in investigating, identifying, and providing impact assessments of pertinent market information.
  • Perform analysis of supplier bids to determine appropriate pricing products for clients.
  • Participate in negotiations for supply terms and prices with supplier base.
  • Draft and deliver recommendations to clients.
  • Implement client-approved energy strategies by directly coordinating with customers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Participate in calls with stakeholders to address market-specific topics and strategies.
  • Micro commodity research (utility switch rules, etc).
  • Maintain historical pricing for assigned geographic areas.


What will make you successful:
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in computer technology especially Microsoft Office Products.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally. Strong presentation skills
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-4 years procurement experience preferred; energy procurement experience in either gas or electricity, or equivalent professional experience in procuring a relatively volatile good or commodity a plus.
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and comprehend information from numerous sources, and communicate pertinent information to internal and external stake holders.
  • Ability to lead customers towards making decisions on high value energy purchases.
  • Work well on teams, within and outside of function.
  • High commitment to company vision and values.
