Pittsburg Tank and Tower Group Job Description INSPECTIONS TECHNICIAN Job Summary: The Inspection Helper will assist job Foreman and crew with various duties associated with inspection of steel structures. Job Duties: Assists with staging equipment Assists with operations of robotic equipment Takes photos of structures Takes thickness readings for steel structures and coatings Properly collect and dispose of consumable items and waste on jobsites Document work as needed The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned Qualifications: Must be comfortable with working in high places and confined spaces Ability to follow safety policies and procedures Must be 18 years of age or older Works well with a team Able to drive a company vehicle safely to field sites Possesses strong problem-solving skills Manages time effectively Detail-oriented Must be willing to travel five days per week and sometimes two weeks at a time across the country Ability to lift 40lbs on regular basis Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
