Job Description

ORBIS Corporation is hiring a Mold Change Technician in Georgetown, KY. This is a full-time position, and paying $24.00–$33.75/hour.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform changeovers and set ups of molds and machines pertaining to mold and version changes.
  • Improve machine efficiency through uptime and optimization.
  • Complete required trainings: Paulson, Systematic I, EAM, and crane.
  • Assist Process Techs and Maintenance in troubleshooting issues pertaining to mold and press functions.
  • Install dies on machines according to specifications (i.e., layouts, STW, BOMs).
  • Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled.
  • Support in times of need: i.e., production support, vacation coverage, and overtime changeover support.
  • Complete all safety and company compliance training on time and according to schedule.
  • Follow and document process parameters (platen layouts) to ensure repeatable results.
  • Troubleshoot to improve and develop repeatable molding processes.
  • Properly handle and care for all materials, molds, and tooling.
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.


Work Experience:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
