MB Maintenance Tech

Summary:

Under general supervision, safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of production equipment in compliance with company policies

Responsibilities:

• Follow andcomply withall safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.

• Provide safe andtimelymechanical and electrical support.

• Ability to interpret and workfrom complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipmentmanuals, and other related documents.

• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities

• Perform various hot work tasks.

• Orderssupplies and repairitemsas necessary.

• Set up andoperateequipment being used to make and repair parts. Examples would belathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

• Ability to work at heights of 10'-0" or more.

• Ability to work in tight spaces.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills – verbal, written & presentation; Listening

• Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD, and PLC systems.

• Understanding of spare part inventory process

• Ability to work independently.

• Must be able to pass a maintenance assessment.
