Description:

Support the FC and Spoke transportation organization in maintaining on-time delivery to customers and stores, promote and coach a culture of safety, and enhance quality within the FC through cross-functional communication. Utilize key performance indicators to improve the customer service experience, delivery efficiency, and driver engagement. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Minimum
- Any experience in marshaller and driver trainer role
- 6 months of FC driver experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to use and understand required technology and application systems
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work within set timeframes and fixed deadlines
- Ability to maintain common delivery standards in a safe and efficient manner
- Accuracy and a high attention to detail
- Ability to work through problems in standardized situations
- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and team members
- Ability to train, coach and develop associates

Desired
- High School Diploma or GED
- Any proven leadership experience
- Any prior coaching, team lead and/or training experience- Work as a team leader to assist in all Transportation functionality at the FC and spoke locations
- Execute team lead duties within established transportation standards
- Identify and troubleshoot issues and communicate to supervision for resolution
- Assist supervisors in day to day tasks and act as liaison between supervisors, warehouse and fleet services
- Provide training and lead daily huddles and other team meetings
- Provide constructive feedback to t team members in the performance of their duties; provide frequent feedback
- Operate delivery vans when needed in a safe/efficient manner
- Load and unload orders onto vans in a safe/efficient manner when needed
- Separate and move totes when needed learn to operate special, job-specific equipment, vans and technology
- Maintain flexibility to work weekends, nights, overtime and holidays on a regular basis
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
