New mothers get a short term disability benefit that is paid by the company.Professional development stipend ($1, 000 per year)Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) annual renewal payment for Affiliated status Minimum Qualifications: A graduate degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is preferred.At least 3 years experience supervising archaeological fieldwork is preferred. Experience at all levels of archaeological investigation is preferred but experience supervising Phase I cultural resource surveys Is a must.No specific area of specialization is required, but priority will be given to archaeologists who also have experience/training in architectural history, ceramic analysis, geoarchaeology, GIS, geophysics, zooarchaeology, or ethnobotany.Qualification under the Secretary of the Interior's Standards (36 CFR 61) in archaeologyA demonstrated ability to write clearly and professionally. Previous experience writing CRM reports is preferred.Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and technologically proficient in basic computer programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Experience in databases and digital data collection is a plus.Ability to use GPS units, compasses, and maps and navigate efficiently in remote areas.Must be a licensed driver with a safe driving record and be able to operate motor vehicles in a safe manner on roadways. Prior experience pulling trailers is a plus.While not required, prior experience driving a small motorboat and maintaining safe water practices is a plus.It is imperative that candidates be able to work 8-10 hour days in a variety of field conditionsThere will be frequent stays away from the office.Hiking, stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of this position Have additional qualifications?
