Description:

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of duties related to assisting customers/users, review of account information, maintaining and/or inputting information in certain computer and FIS systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· May answer a large call volume and then assist the user and/or transfer the call to an appropriate party.

· May perform input of information including account maintenance to certain computer and FIS systems.

· May perform certain FIS security functions and network security functions such as unlocking and/or resetting passwords.

· May perform certain functions including set up of accounts in FIS systems such as Internet Banking.

· May review new or updated deposit account information including IRAs.

· May perform certain functions needed to distribute customer information for internet banking customers, ATM/Debit Card customers, loan customers etc.

· Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

· Position normally requires a high school diploma or GED plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.

· More than one year of experience is typically required to demonstrate proficiency in assigned tasks.

· Excellent PC skills and keyboarding ability.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Knowledge of FIS data processing system.

· Refers questionable matters to management.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Works in a call center atmosphere. Environment may be noisy.

· Works under close supervision until proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities is demonstrated.
