Job Description
SUNBELT SOLOMON SERVICES LLC is hiring a Site Health & Safety Manager in Solomon, KS. This is a full-time position.
TheSite Health & Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring site-level compliance with applicable occupational safety and health requirements. This role partners directly with operations to identify risks, implement required safety programs, facilitate incident investigations, support regulatory inspections, and drive a proactive safety culture through daily engagement, auditing, training, and risk assessment activities. Maintain site compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and site-specific safety requirements.Identify which OSHA-required programs apply to the site and ensure those programs are implemented, maintained, and documentedCreate and maintain site-specific work instructions that define how the site complies with corporate safety policies and regulatory expectations.Facilitate incident investigations in partnership with operations, ensuring root causes are identified, and corrective actions are developed, assigned, and tracked to closure.Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews to identify hazards, gaps, and improvement opportunities.Serve as the site point of contact for regulatory inspections and interactions with local regulators, including environmental agencies.Participate in Gemba walks to observe work practices, engage employees, identify risks, and reinforce safe behaviors.Participate in daily morning operations meetings to provide safety input, communicate priorities, and support operational alignment.Ensure employees receive required regulatory and annual safety training based on job duties, exposures, and applicable OSHA requirements.Identify industrial hygiene monitoring needs using risk-based assessments, including potential exposure concerns related to air contaminants, noise, chemicals, ergonomics, or other workplace health hazards.Conduct and maintain site safety risk assessments for tasks, processes, equipment, and operational changes. Working Relationships This role works closely with site operations, supervisors, employees, corporate safety leadership, environmental contacts, human resources, maintenance, and external regulatory representatives. The position is expected to be visible in the operation, actively engaged with teams, and accountable for translating corporate safety expectations into effective site-level execution.
