Description:

Play a key role with the Talent and Organizational Effectiveness Center of Excellence (CoE) by supporting the complete talent lifecycle across assigned regions for all lines of business. Serve as the primary liaison between the CoE and regional teams driving the end-to-end talent strategies for recruitment, onboarding, and development programs for hourly and salaried associates. Partner closely for all lines of business with local Associate Experience and Operations teams, Kroger Store Support Center Talent Partners, and business leaders to strengthen recruiting pipelines, accelerate bench strength and associate role readiness. Support the performance and growth of individuals pursuing role advancement and development through Pearl Street Academy programs, role-based onboarding, development programs, and form intentional relationships with strategic local partners to support talent pipelines. 3+ years of HR, talent acquisition, training, or retail leadership experience

Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with proven ability to deliver training or workshops

Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work independently

Desired

Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational leadership, communications, or business

Experience in talent acquisition, leadership development, or regional HR support roles

Proven ability to connect enterprise talent strategies to field-level execution

Career aspiration toward HR leadership roles such as District HR Leader/Generalist, Assistant HR Manager, or Sr. GeneralistServe as a liaison between the Talent Acquisition & Training team and the Associate Experience teams across all lines of business to implement and sustain talent acquisition and development programs

Collaborate with local Associate Experience teams and Kroger Store Support Center Talent Partners to drive campus recruiting strategy, participate in career fairs, and identify top talent for salaried leadership roles

Support the hiring process by guiding recruitment activities with a strong focus on candidate experience, ensuring every decision prioritizes respect and care for applicants

Champion timely hiring by supporting and guiding the execution of Time-to-Fill initiatives, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams

Act as a continuous feedback loop for the Pearl Street Academy and Talent CoE, gathering insights on emerging leadership development needs from the region to align programs with critical business priorities

Participate in regular talent review meetings with local leadership to assess bench strength and identify development needs

Facilitate foundational leadership development trainings, as needed, and support coordination in execution of CoE-designed programs across designated regions

Collaborate with local Associate Experience teams across all lines of business to maintain consistent and high-quality delivery of new hire orientation, role-specific training, and development programs for associates

Partner with local Associate Experience teams to develop and execute a strategic workforce plan that drives talent readiness and leadership growth across the region, ensuring seamless new store openings, full compliance with annual training requirements, and targeted leadership development initiatives that strengthen bench strength at all levels

Coordinate regional training certifications, ensuring each line of business is supported with certified trainers by helping associates obtain and maintain required certifications

Partner with assigned regions on budget responsibilities related to training administration and training hours, including reporting results and sharing feedback with the Store Support Center

Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment

Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner

Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information

Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues

Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults

Travel up to 50% to support business needs
