Description:

Responsible for petroleum supply analytics throughout the enterprise. Accountable for accurate reporting of petroleum contracts, contract bids, and other reports associated with petroleum supply. Identify and execute tactical purchases to include low rack purchases, day deals, arbitrage opportunities. Provide leadership for identifying market trends that will affect contract pricing. Communicate and report pertinent performance results to division and department procurement teams. This position is a remote opportunity. - 2+ years of experience working with data analytics and data integrity
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work according to the business priorities and strategies

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Any previous experience with fuel suppliers, carriers, and or fuel distribution
- Any previous experience as an analyst
- Any experience and understanding of petroleum industry and the logistics associated with product movement
- Understanding of formula- based pricing models to include the Oil Price Information Service, Platts and the New York Mercantile exchange- Analyze supply bids during Request for Proposal process; responsible for producing excel spread sheets comparing bid offers to existing contracts over a three year period for specific terminal cities
- Monitor contracted volume requirements and obligations
- Identify, analyze and communicate gaps between sales and contract volume requirements
- Document Fuel Supplier contract terms, addendums, and cancellations monthly
- Serve as the administrator of contract files; ensure files are in compliance (i.e., signed, filed, etc.)
- Gather, prepare, and present fuel pricing data for use in contract negotiations
- Facilitate new store setups and contract assignments
- Provide forecasting process support to Petroleum Procurement team
- Analyze and execute any cost savings opportunities via Day Deals, Arbitrage Opportunities and or rack purchases
- Provide fuel spot market price change and significant news item updates to the fuel team as needed
- Oversee a system of internal audit and inventory controls to ensure that methods, procedures, and programs are being used properly
- Maintain control of expenses, accurate disbursement and accurate information
- Develop retail division reports for pricing levels, monitor sales results, and compile market surveys
