Your Job

Koch is seeking a curious and organized Business Support Specialist for the Koch EHS/Compliance organization. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative, compliance, and coordination support, partnering closely with senior leadership and a broad internal customer base. This role manages meetings, invoices, travel, records, and logistics; supports EHS oversight, cross-site, and on and off-site meetings; maintains SharePoint sites, and compliance systems; and handles confidential employee and compliance documentation. The position also supports emergency preparedness activities, and acts as backup for trade pre-clearance processes involving sensitive information.

This role requires an onsite presence at our Wichita, KS location.

This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.

What You Will Do

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, both local and remote
  • Manage invoices in Koch's internal accounting system for multiple customers
  • Own Wichita campus evacuation coordination, including communications software and program management
  • Schedule & coordinate leadership team visits to KAES and FHR sites
  • Handle planning, logistics, and execution for on- and off-site meetings
  • System support for EHS and Compliance event data system, including some data entry
  • Owner of multiple team SharePoint sites
  • Serve as backup for legal process to review pre-trade clearances as part of securities trading compliance
  • Assist with logistics of new employee onboarding and employee moves
  • Arrange travel and assist team with changes when required
  • Manage mail and procurement of office supplies


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, and senior-leader support
  • Experience in administrative, business support, or coordination roles
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent administrative tasks and meeting established deadlines
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and document management systems
  • Experience with SharePoint site ownership
  • Experience producing clear written correspondence and delivering concise verbal updates to stakeholders


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting EHS, compliance, legal, or regulated business functions
  • Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience supporting emergency preparedness, evacuation coordination, or business continuity activities
