Your JobKoch Engineered Solutions (KES) is looking for a Director, Enterprise Data Products and Strategy to join the team leading our Data & Analytics capability. The Data & Analytics team is a vital component in KES' strategy to transform business performance through transparent and accurate analysis of data which leads to insight and profitable action. As part of the Information Technology organization, the Data & Analytics team works as an integrated group with the global Engineering, Operations, Commercial and Financial teams that design and maintain facilities and manufacture key components for various industries around the world.
Our TeamDrawing on your knowledge and experience, you will build on the existing foundation of our Data and Analytics capability to create and then articulate vision, strategies and roadmaps to the team, key stakeholders, and business leaders. You will collaborate to develop solutions and prove their value through experimentation and scalable deployment in our business. As a member of the IT leadership team leading in a collaborative environment, displaying creativity, and focusing on attaining positive business results will be necessary skills. You will need to be resourceful and capable of building relationships and partnering with key stakeholders to accelerate the progress of our business objectives.
What You Will Do- Develop and advance a strategic vision for KES Data and Analytics by organizing and leading a team dedicated to enhancing strategies and talent, ensuring alignment with current and future business transformation needs.
- Build relationships and understand business outcomes, connecting business partners with what is possible by utilizing data in current and future decision making. Enable delivery of insights / analytics that achieve business outcomes and are composable, scalable, and secure.
- As a leader in the organization, advance the KES vision though the application of Principle Based Management.
- Make Data Literacy a priority to ensure employees across KES understand opportunities that exist to apply data to decision making, and how to pursue them.
- Ensure clear ownership and accountability exists for appropriately creating, managing, and driving a Data Governance strategy across KES.
- Seek and experiment with new technologies that will enhance enabling data and insight delivery for the organization.
- Build internal and external knowledge networks. Actively participate in Koch knowledge sharing and apply learnings to accelerate the maturity of the KES Data and Analytics capability.
- Develop appropriate metrics that demonstrate the performance and effectiveness of the Data and Analytics capability.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Progressive career experience in IT, analysis, strategic planning, business development, business decision support, or related role(s)
- Leadership experience(i.e., developing the capabilities of a team, leading transformation, being a driver of company initiatives, project leadership, or similar)
- Experience applying strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities which lead to improved results, including originating ideas, collecting data, establishing facts, performing analysis, drawing conclusions, and presenting a point of view to key stakeholders and business leaders.
- Strong aptitude and experience in analytics and strategy development
- Travel 25% or as needed
