Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a passionate and innovative Project Controls Leader to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-site and cross-functional teams to enhance our project execution capabilities, contributing to the success of Turnaround, Capital, and Expense Projects across KAES sites.

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is looking for a Project Controls Leader who will be the primary point of contact for leading and improving the scheduling capability for Turnaround, Capital and Expense Projects across KAES sites.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.This position offers a relocation package if needed.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate and partner with stakeholders and capability leaders to develop a shared vision, strategies and plans to achieve the vision for the Scheduling capability.
  • Drive results by applying Koch's Principle-Based Management (PBM) Principles and transforming the KAES scheduling capability.
  • Guide, mentor, and empower team members fleetwide that impact scheduling quality supporting the development and implementation of Turnaround, Capital, and Expense projects.
  • Partner with project and turnaround teams to build a capability that drives profitable action through
  • Fully optimized schedules aligned with the business objectives and execution plans
  • Effective change and risk management
  • Accurate performance assessments
  • Leveraging data from schedule analysis to provide insightful information including forecasts
  • Developing multiple scenarios and/or recovery plans
  • Frequent and effectively stakeholder communication


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in leading, developing talent and supervising a team across multiple locations, capabilities and experience levels showing a strong commitment to servant leadership principles
  • Experience translating organizational priorities into cross functional initiatives which deliver superior results (cost competitiveness, ROI, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing trends/variances and leveraging insights to drive action that improves outcomes.
  • Experience applying Work Management processes and tools to achieve superior results.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, with extended onsite presence required during Turnarounds


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with turnaround and/or project scheduling, reporting and analytics processes and tools such as P6, MS Project, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Experience integrating data across business systems
  • 5+ years in Construction and/or Engineering Design field
