Your Job

The KBX Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support Financial Planning and Analysis initiatives. This role provides data analytics, forecasting, and economic analysis capabilities in support of KBX's business plans. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to long-term profitability of KBX.

Our Team

The KBX Finance team plays a vital role in developing sound economic analysis and partnering with the business to drive profitable decisions. Our highly skilled team works to further Koch's comparative advantages by providing insights that transform logistics across all of Koch Industries. We utilize a decision-making framework to collect, evaluate and generate data across the business and create a point of view to influence and make recommendations for business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Build forecasts and partner with leaders to facilitate annual business plans.
  • Develop economic analysis to support strategic decision making and initiatives.
  • Facilitate monthly forecast to actual meetings to access accuracy of future forecasts.
  • Create financial models and apply challenge to new potential business initiatives.
  • Identify and assess key profit drivers, risks, and synergies to increase value and business performance.
  • Provide financial analysis to drive accountability and ownership through collaboration with members of Accounting, IT, and Finance.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience creating financial models and or business forecasts
  • Experience partnering with operations and commercial teams to drive profitable action
  • Experience using data to drive actionable insights
  • Experience independently initiating tasks and successfully completing with minimal supervision.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Business, Finance, or Economics or professional experience in finance, account, business or economics role
  • Experience in a financial planning & analysis position or a corporate finance or accounting position
  • Experience building strong relationships with business stakeholders and gathering requirements
  • Experience in corporate or business development
  • Experience in PowerBI, Alteryx and SQL
