Your Job

INVISTA is seeking a contribution-minded Credit Risk Analyst or Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS. This role will directly report to our Credit Risk Manager. In this role, you will partner with international business teams to provide key support that optimizes the balance of risk and reward. A successful candidate must enjoy collaborating with others, providing critical decision support, and building meaningful relationships. This position will engage, challenge, and provide fulfillment to a candidate with strong analytical, economic thinking, and communication skills.

What You Will Do
  • Review counterparty financial statements, industry data, and country information to develop a strong point of view, determine creditworthiness, and effectively communicate risks on a company's competitive position
  • Manage and maintain credit risk exposures for counterparties located in North America and Europe
  • Review and facilitate blocked order requests, communicating effectively when evaluating exposure risk and recommending an action plan
  • Provide commercial teams transparency to portfolio performance and key risks to help drive profitable decision-making
  • Provide timely credit assistance and resolution while building collaborative relationships with both internal and external business partners (i.e., risk team, business leaders, supply chain, procurement, Koch Inc. team, etc.)
  • Steward the Koch Inc. (KI) risk philosophy and effectively communicate it to business leadership
  • Continuously seek opportunities through innovation for process improvement, system optimization, and credit portfolio management
  • Prioritize and demonstrate time-management and organizational skills
  • There may be opportunities to assist the treasury team on cash flow forecasting, rating agency analysis, and international cash planning


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in credit management or other relevant work experience (Ex: financial analysis, risk analysis, economic modeling, portfolio management, treasury, or another related field)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Ex: pivot tables, data analysis, formula creation, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 10%-15% of the time
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
  • Experience in treasury analysis (Ex: cash flow forecasting, rating agency analysis, international cash planning, etc.)
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience in evaluating market risk including but not limited to understanding commodity markets, value-at-risk calculations, and inventory management
  • Experience working in an international business
  • Experience with mitigation strategies used to limit risk (Ex: parent guarantees, letters of credit, bank drafts, surety bonds, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Ex: Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Denodo, etc.)
