When you work as an Analyst in the Dose Formulation Analysis lab at KCAS, you get to further our mission by working under senior scientists to contribute to the success of our clients. Our Dose Formulation Analysis (DFA) lab team verifies all solutions used in preclinical toxicology studies to ensure drugs are safe and effective, utilizing either UV/Vis or Fluorescence detectors, depending on what is appropriate for the protein or a small molecule.

In this role, we will rely on you to:

  • Process, prepare, analyze, and verify samples, laboratory solutions, reagents, method development, and reports.
  • \n
  • Prepare study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and for archiving.
  • \n
  • Independently create basic experiment plans and set up instrument configurations.
  • \n

To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
\n
    \n
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field
  • \n
  • Hands-on experience with pipetting
  • \n
  • Experience preparing solutions
  • \n
  • Detail-oriented and commitment to quality, safety, accuracy, and reliability
  • \n
  • Ability to prioritize while working across multiple projects
  • \n
