Overview

We are seeking a full-time Team Leader Order Administration in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, training and coordinating daily activities of Order Management Account Representatives to manage the order booking process, including problem resolution processes. This role communicates for the department in audits, presentations and leadership meetings and partners with leadership on staff resource allocation, team cohesiveness and overall planning / execution of activities. In addition, this role provides program summaries, ensures compliance with program guidelines, and forecasts and tracks developmental program costs.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for overseeing the team's day-to-day contact with OEM and dealer accounts to maximize sales and service for Garmin products
  • Ensure that communication with accounts is timely and accurate as it relates to orders, deliveries, sales promotions, and new product introductions
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding Oracle, department procedures, customer requirements, Qlik reporting, and key internal cross-functional contacts and processes
  • Responsible for ongoing, proactive communication, training, staff scheduling, and UKG time management of team members
  • Crosstrain and mentor to be able to support all Order Management Representatives
  • Interact with all Order Management Account Representatives to keep a current, moderate-level awareness & understanding of account situations
  • Establish and monitor individual performance plans, write and deliver Annual Performance Reviews, and present updates to leadership as needed / requested
  • Identify and contribute ways to take advantage of opportunities or problem solve
  • Foster a positive work environment, build strong relationships, and promote a sense of shared purpose
  • Lead and train order management team - overseeing order processing, customer communication, and cross-department collaboration to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Manage customer interactions including order entry, pricing, shipping updates, returns, claims, and complaint resolution, while maintaining contract compliance and generating management reports
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including effective verbal and written communication, empathy, and the ability to inspire and motivate their team
  • Demonstrates confidentiality related to sensitive issues
  • Demonstrates a proven track record for providing sound solutions for difficult issues
  • Skilled in working with inter-departmental teams to define processes and resolve issues
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced, account or project management / customer service, challenging environment
  • Detail-oriented and work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
  • Order administration, customer service or team supervision experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience
  • Prior leadership experience
