We are seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer 1 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic statistical analysis to estimate departmental needs and/or product/process performance.

We are seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer 1 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic statistical analysis to estimate departmental needs and/or product/process performance.
Essential Functions
- Review and analyze processes, capture as-is process flows and highlight inefficiencies
- Set up and capture time study elements
- Perform basic statistical analysis and cost estimates
- Identify and resolve defects of basic scope using proper engineering tools and techniques
- Apply basic standards and procedures to accomplish tasks using appropriate engineering tools to document and implement work in an organized manner
- May be responsible for planning own technical work
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
- Demonstrated capability for applying industry standards and procedures to develop, implement, and document operational processes
- Ability to learn how to use and apply engineering tools
- Demonstrated capability to perform basic troubleshooting & debugging
- Demonstrated understanding of lean tools and methods
- Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
