Description:
Hours: Monday - Thursday 5: 00am - 3: 30pm, with occasional overtime on Friday's
Key Responsibilities: Powder Coat Application - Apply powder coating materials to products at specified film thickness according to production requirements
- Monitor and maintain powder application equipment and system parameters
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or coating issues as they arise
Color Changes & Production Support - Perform contamination-free color changes according to established procedures
- Complete color changes within designated timeframes to minimize production downtime
Quality & Safety - Maintain a clean and organized powder application area
- Clean application equipment and maintain powder coating systems to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety guidelines, ISO procedures, and PPE requirements
- Participate in safety meetings and actively promote a safe work environment
Team Collaboration - Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to maintain steady workflow
- Support cross-training and assist coworkers when needed
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, sheet metal, or machine shop environment preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including reading prints and production routers
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively
- Willingness to learn new operations and cross-train across roles
Physical Requirements - Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail required
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, vibration, and moving equipment
