Description:

Hours: Monday - Thursday 5: 00am - 3: 30pm, with occasional overtime on Friday's

Key Responsibilities:
Powder Coat Application
  • Apply powder coating materials to products at specified film thickness according to production requirements
  • Monitor and maintain powder application equipment and system parameters
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or coating issues as they arise

Color Changes & Production Support
  • Perform contamination-free color changes according to established procedures
  • Complete color changes within designated timeframes to minimize production downtime

Quality & Safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized powder application area
  • Clean application equipment and maintain powder coating systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow all safety guidelines, ISO procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Participate in safety meetings and actively promote a safe work environment

Team Collaboration
  • Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to maintain steady workflow
  • Support cross-training and assist coworkers when needed
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, sheet metal, or machine shop environment preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including reading prints and production routers
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively
  • Willingness to learn new operations and cross-train across roles
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, vibration, and moving equipment
