Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Senior Network Analyst to join our Information Technology / Operations Technology (IT/OT) capability. The IT/OT team specializes in support of applications and infrastructure critical to operation of the plant manufacturing process.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Network Analyst to fill a role that will focus primarily on SD-WAN Product Ownership and serve as the technical subject matter expert to lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of our SD-WAN solution.

As the SD-WAN Product Owner, you will lead the strategic development and ownership of solutions that seamlessly integrate with complex network environments-including voice over IP, industrial wireless technologies, diverse security platforms and SCADA systems utilizing private satellite communications. This role offers unparalleled exposure to cutting-edge technologies, providing a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate within a diverse, multidisciplinary team comprising network specialists, systems administrators, software engineers, product owners, and cybersecurity professionals. What You Will Do

  • Act as the SD-WAN Product Owner and subject matter expert by defining architecture/configuration standards, managing the solution lifecycle, and partnering with vendors to develop the product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Oversee proactive monitoring and alerting strategies. Lead incident response activities while coordinating stakeholder requests to ensure optimal SD-WAN performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business objectives and design network solutions that effectively meet their desired outcomes. While also partnering directly with other members of the network team to ensure cohesive implementation and ongoing support.
  • Design, deploy, support, and maintain complex enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead and manage network infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, coordinating resources, timelines, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery, while mitigating risks and addressing issues proactively.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, network diagrams, onboarding materials, and facilitate smooth handoffs to network peers, including formal knowledge sharing sessions.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated hands on experience designing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining complex enterprise network infrastructures, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN architecture
  • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN switches, wireless access points, and VPN solutions.
  • Availability for on-call support on a rotational basis to promptly address critical network incidents
  • Willingness to travel as needed (typically up to 10% of the time) to support project deployments, customer meetings, and cross-site collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including diagnosing and resolving critical incidents efficiently.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Demonstrated experience in migrating production SDWAN environments to new controller platforms.
  • Proven experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting multiple firewall technologies, including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet.
  • Experience with industrial wireless, private satellite systems, voice over IP, and Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE)
  • Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and Industrial communication protocols, (OPC, Modbus)
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE or equivalent are preferred.
