What You Will Do - Collaborate with a team of talented professionals, including business stakeholders, analysts, and fellow engineers, to understand software requirements and transform them into efficient and scalable applications.
- Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art software solutions that streamline our operations, enhance productivity, and drive business growth.
- Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects or performance issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
- Foster a culture of excellence by conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our software engineering capabilities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) - 2+ years professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years of software engineering with at least one programming language; Python or TypeScript/JavaScript preferred
- 1+ years' experience with AWS Serverless Services
- 1+ years' experience working with a database technology; Graph preferred
What Will Put You Ahead - Proven experience in software development using languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar, along with an understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in modern web development frameworks and technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and React, with a keen eye for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Experience with agile software development methodologies, version control systems, and issue tracking tools, enabling seamless collaboration within cross-functional teams
- Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of successfully tackling complex technical challenges
- Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders including business owners and product owners
- Experience in the energy or manufacturing industry
