Flint Hills Resources is seeking a contribution-minded Accounting Analyst to join our CFO organization!

Our Team

This role will report to the Accounts Payable Automation Supervisor and be based at the headquarters in Wichita, KS.

What You Will Do

• Analyze and report on past due and duplicate payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Create reports to provide timely insights for management.
• Problem-solve payment and reporting issues effectively.
• Perform accurate reconciliations of vendor statements, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Identify and drive process improvements and innovations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize Power BI to generate reports that support financial decision-making.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in an accounting or another professional role.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, formula creation.) and Access.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or other similar tools.
