DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst at our Olathe, Kansas location with a strong background in application development, requirements gathering, and customer engagement. This role blends technical expertise with business analysis skills to design, implement, and support enterprise applications. You will work on a variety of projects, applying modern development tools, integration platforms, and database technologies to deliver high-quality business solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements, and driving projects through design, development, testing, and deployment.

Job Responsibilities

Application Development & Integration
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using modern development frameworks and integration technologies.
  • Build and maintain database solutions using SQL Server and Oracle Database.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using IDEs such as Visual Studio Code.
  • Manage and maintain source code repositories using GitHub.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Engage with business users to elicit, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
  • Perform feasibility analysis and impact assessments for proposed projects and enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks.

Testing & Deployment
  • Develop and execute test plans, including API testing with tools such as Postman.
  • Coordinate application releases and deployments to minimize business disruption.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

Support & Maintenance
  • Provide tier-two/three support for deployed applications and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with cross-functional IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth operations.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to end-users when needed.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a systems analyst, application developer, or similar role.
  • Experience in both development and requirements gathering is required.
  • Proven experience in systems analysis, application development, and integration.
  • Proficiency in: Modern integration tools (e.g., Boomi, Oracle Integration or similar platforms), Application frameworks (#, REACT, Typescript, Node, PLSQL, SQL, Oracle APEX or equivalent low-code tools), SQL Server & Oracle Database development, API development and testing (e.g., Postman), Source control (GitHub or equivalent)
  • Collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, M365 SharePoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
