Role
The Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, databases, network virtualization, and cloud platforms. This role ensures infrastructure reliability, security, and compliance with regulatory standards, supporting mission-critical banking operations and digital services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure project planning and delivery, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risk management, and change control for initiatives such as implementations, upgrades, migrations, data center operations, and disaster recovery enhancements.
  • Develop, forecast, and manage infrastructure resource plans, including staffing, skills coverage, capacity, and budgets to support both operational needs and project demands.
  • Assign and coordinate technical resources across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining system stability and service levels.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to prioritize infrastructure initiatives and align work with organizational goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Track project and operational performance, manage risks and dependencies, and provide regular status reporting and mitigation plans to leadership.
  • Lead the infrastructure team in operating and supporting on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Oversee administration of servers, storage, virtualization, and databases across all data centers and banking locations.
  • Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent outages, degradation, or capacity shortfalls.
  • Ensure infrastructure security, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness in partnership with cybersecurity and compliance teams.
  • Coordinate with disaster recovery management on developing, maintaining and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for infrastructure services.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and evaluations of new technologies and services.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for infrastructure staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, bank policies, and safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions as required.


Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with previous experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge of server and storage systems, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V), networking, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Experience in regulated environments, with a solid understanding of financial compliance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring tools, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks.


Skills
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.

Physical Requirement
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.

Regular in-office attendance required.

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
