Job Summary:

This Process Improvement Engineer is responsible for a wide variety of manufacturing process engineering and production activities for the Hutchinson Facility. The Process Improvement Engineer will report to the Production Manager and will workday time hours Monday through Friday between the hours of 7: 00am - 5: 00pm.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate & implement Lean Manufacturing principles across the department's material flow paths, and must gain a complete view and understanding of the area's manufacturing process to be successful.
• Primarily focus on tactical projects in the areas of safety, recovery improvement, training, and production.
• Coordinate efforts on process improvements, including capital projects, reliability excellence, and will support and lead the execution of problem-solving efforts related to process and machine improvements.
• While this role works primarily daytime shifts M-F, the incumbent must be flexible to work off-shifts as needed to support the functions of this role.
